fancy having one less thing to worry about?

YES! Please write my copy for me!

Hi, I'm Genevieve

TRavel and tourism copywriter

Optimum Chauffeur Drive, Ireland

We recently had the pleasure of working with Genevieve on the copy for Optimum Chauffeur Drive's website, and we couldn't be more thrilled with the results.

Genevieve took the initial ideas and transformed them into engaging content that really captures the essence of what we are trying to get across to our target audience. I was pleasantly surprised by how she was able to elevate everything without using too much text, which is exactly what we wanted for our website. As for the copy she wrote, we couldn't be happier. It not only effectively communicates our brand's message, but also speaks directly to the needs of Optimum Chauffeur Drive's customers. Without hesitation, I would recommend Genevieve to anyone in need of website copywriting or rewriting.

A range of travel and tourism copywriting options

It depends on what you need.

Websites

Is your website making the right impression on potential customers? If it doesn't entice customers in (and persuade them to stay long enough to make their booking), then it's not doing its job properly.

I can rewrite your whole website from scratch or turn my attention to certain pages. And if your site is languishing in Google limbo, a little creative SEO magic will soon put that right!

Prices start at £200 per web page.

Tour itineraries

There's an art to writing a good tour itinerary.

It's not just about the logistics of your tour (although the whens, wheres and how longs do need to be super-clear).

More importantly, a tour itinerary has to speak to your customers' emotions, to generate such FOMO that they can't not press that 'Book now' button.

All this and they need to be concise.

A tall order? Let me rise to the challenge.

Blog posts

None of your AI-generated blancmange here, thank you very much!

Blog posts, as I'm sure you know are great for SEO. But deadly dull bot-written posts are not fooling anyone.

Get me writing for you, and I'll craft posts that aren't just fun to read, but that answer your clients' questions about your destination and services. That'll get you moving your way up the search pages too.

Prices start at £200 per post.

All this in your brand voice, with ultra-persuasive (and SEO friendly) headlines thrown in for good measure.

Prices for a holiday rental listing write-up start at £250

You know that regular emails are a vital tool in your sales arsenal. Not only that, they're a great way of nurturing your loyal customers and keeping you front of mind.

But how to write emails that get opened and make sales rather than going straight to email purgatory (aka the spam folder)?

Leave your email writing to me. We'll soon get your open rates on the up.

Frequently Asked Questions

How do I know if I need a copywriter?

Well, there are a few tell-tale signs! Maybe you absolutely hate writing and resent having to write a simple paragraph (if that's the case, hiring a copywriter is a no-brainer). Or perhaps you're just really s-l-o-w at writing, so it's a huge time sink. It could be that you like writing, but find you're never getting sales or leads from your copy. If writing for your business is causing you problems in any way, you could definitely benefit from copy coaching or my done-for-you copy services.

Can't I just get AI to write my copy for me?

Of course you can! It'll save you time and money.

Unfortunately, it will also be bland, unoriginal and quite possibly riddled with factual inaccuracies.

The internet is awash with AI-generated travel and tourism copy. And it's getting pretty stale. If you want to stand out from the crowd, steer well clear.

What's the process when working with a copywriter?

Every copywriter is different. Here's my process. After you send me your initial enquiry, we'll have a brief, no-obligation meeting, and I'll see if I can help you. Depending on whether we're a good fit for each other, I'll send you a quote, along with a contract. If you choose to proceed, we'll have an initial 90 minute meeting, where I find out more about your business and brand, as well as the task in hand. Then we'll agree on a schedule and I'll get to work.

Could you edit or proofread my website or other copy? What are your fees?

Yes, I can. And the price will depend on the extent of the work, and whether you require content editing, copy editing or a simple proofread. Get in touch for a quote.

Will we meet up in person?

I'm based in Shetland, so unless you're a fellow Shetlander it's likely we'll be communicating with each other through Zoom, email and good old-fashioned phone calls.

You could always come for a mini-break though. It's lovely here!
